Train Your Children

Children are vulnerable in any kind of environment, when young people consistently steal they extend it to classmate, playgroups and neighbourhood, then they become burglars, armed robbers, kidnappers, cultists and yahoo boys and girls club (working girls) because they want to have fun at the detriment of others. An incident between some certain kids detained for stealing mangoes from a tree under a live wire not only the constant daily headache caused by this kids activity but the impending tragedy.

Kids out of two schools jump the low fence enter an unknown compound and start plucking the delicate sweet hybrid mango planted by Dr Adelaja and once the gardener and gateman spots them they run and unto this road is busy with traffic which can lead to an accident. A 3yrs old was designated to climb up while the older ones watched as she threw the mangoes not even ripe down, she had no idea of the live wire embedded in the tree. This is a tree that produces only 25 mangoes a year. 15 are already stolen or ruined by these pupils they were detained for stealing mangoes on a private property and be picked by their parent or drop them at the police station for parents to retrieve them there with a recognizable fee

 During the interrogation some of them were proving too stubborn and smart while one of them was hurling insult on Dr. Kemi for detaining their siblings, it all end up in the house of the detained kids family with the father said 2 days ago, he opened the gate for Dr. Kemi's dad when he visited the speaker. Imagine hearing that the speaker's gateman loses his daughter in the mango farm of the Olunloyo home yesterday, the coincidence will be too tragic

Build your child, build your home. These kids are vulnerable when you don't discipline them for wrongdoings. There was a report on two armed robbers killed at that spot 2weeks ago and the one who hide in the mango trees was fired with a rifle not until he escaped into a house nearby where the NPF caught him to have robbed a lady of  2M around 19 and 21 years old respectively.

Vigilante justice for kids is highly unacceptable but how do we curb this act? Train your children

Impeachment: Real reason Lagos Assembly is after Ambode – CSO

A civil rights organization, Legislative Probity, and Accountability (LPA), has linked the planned impeachment of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State to the desperate accusation by his adversaries that he had been funding the campaign of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje. The LPA made this claim in a statement signed by its Chairman, Olu Fajana, in Abuja on Tuesday. The CSO also issued the Lagos House of Assembly five days deadline to account for the N28.8 billion running cost collected under the leadership of Mudashiru Obasa. It said if the House of Assembly failed, it would mobilize Nigerians and other progressive forces and use all legal instruments to compel them to account. Fajana said, “ As a legislative Probity and Accountability non-governmental organization, we are demanding that the Lagos House of Assembly should within the next five days account for how the N28.8 billion so far collected as running cost by the Obasa-led House
