This was a move that state leaders said was needed to safeguard those rights should the United States Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade. Though abortion is legal in New York, the bill does shift state law. One major change this year, permits for a late-term abortion to preserve the health of the mother. "A woman was entitled to have an abortion up until the time of viabiltity and that word viabiltiy means up until a fetus could live outside of the womb," said Chemung County Legislator Christina Sonsire. "It also said that a woman could have an abortion past the age of viability to protect the womans life." According to Sonsire, this is a movement to align federal and state law. "The cou

The world's oldest profession is sometimes called prostitution , the practice of engaging in sexual relations in exchange for payment while a prostitute is a person, most of the time a woman, who sex with people for money. Can we call it a necessary commodity if it's at their own advantage? Some prostitutes walk the streets looking for customers while others in bars, nightclubs or in a building called brothel.
